Steam Pasteurization
We go "pasture" average food chain's...
efforts to ensure safety and quality. Steam pasteurization is a method of eliminating harmful bacteria in food products that could cause illness, in this case beef, by killing it with heat. In recent years, there have been isolated cases of E.coli0157:H7. Pasteurization specifically kills E.coli, Salmonella and Listeria. To our knowledge, Lick's is the only restaurant in North America that exclusively sources pasteurized beef.
